Creative Movement Program
Ballet-based Creative Movement
In these enriching ballet-based dance classes, boys and girls are introduced to the world of dance through FUN themes, props, music, & movement. Basic principals of body and space, rhythm, and an overall feel for music are developed through a loving and playful approach.
Creative movement and ballet fundamentals for young students are tailored to meet the developmental needs of children according to their age. Director Kerrie Korzatkowski developed the progressive curriculum for this program. The syllabus introduces students to basic movement exploration and develops into a more structured study of classical ballet. Creativity is emphasized to encourage the artistic exploration of movement and allow a child's natural talent and skills to be discovered.
